After five weeks and gathering more than Rs100 million in the box office, the Fahad Mustafa-starrer Na Maloom Afraad 2 has been banned in Punjab. The reason has been refered to as the film’s unseemly and ‘disgusting’ substance. None of the partners were accessible to remark on the circumstance, with the exception of the film’s maker Fizza Ali Meerza.
“I don’t comprehend why they concocted a reason to boycott the film five weeks after its discharge,” Meerza
Concerning how the issue was activated, she expressed, “Some random newspaper in Lahore with no credibility or readership wrote that the film has vulgar and inappropriate scenes. It’s sad because now this isn’t just about this film. Now if anyone thinks there is something wrong with any film, will they pull it off the screens just like that?”
She proceeded with, “I find it difficult because they have done it before too and I think we are in the wrong business now.”
While she was frustrated with the sudden boycott, Meerza said they won’t down. “Yes, we will fight back. We are not going to stay quiet because this affects our industry as a whole too. We will get the Na Maloom Afraad 2 back in the cinemas.”
